Ultra-sensitive, light and pur­pose designed rods for drop­shot­ting and fishing with light lures. Two rods are available, either 7ft 6in or 8ft 6in.

The 7ft 6in (2.3m) Dropshot Rod is the shortest of the two models cur­rently in the range and best suited to slightly lighter casting weights from 4g to 16g. It really comes into its own on canals, small rivers and marinas.

The light­weight, slim, high mod­ulus carbon blank delivers the neces­sary fin­esse for drop­shot­ting while holding plenty of power in reserve. The sens­itive tip action provides a tactile feel and the unbe­liev­ably fast blank offers excel­lent con­trol of the lure, enabling you to strike at the slightest tap.

The rod is per­fectly bal­anced when coupled with a small fixed spool reel and comes with a com­fort­able Fuji reel seat, stylish EVA split handle design and fin­ished off with Drennan's eye-catching Dropshot graphics.

The 8ft 6in (2.6m) Dropshot Rod is the longer of the two models and is ideal for casting weights from 4g to 20g. The extra length also allows you to tackle the far bank more effect­ively, yet still retains a good degree of fin­esse. The slightly more powerful blank is also useful for tack­ling much deeper water where larger weights are required.
